The Bermuda Triangle
Have you ever been evoked by something you haven’t necessarily experienced but got the chills from its unexplained theory?
The mysterious disappearance of the Flight 19
The squad was on its way back to Miami, Florida after completing their training. 90 minutes after the takeoff, the pilot reported that they were lost and the weather and sea conditions were getting worse every minute. Being lost in the massive storm for 3 hours, the pilot had no idea where they were headed, and after coming out of it, the plane ran out of fuel and crashed. As of today, the Flight 19 has not been found.
What happened to the USS Cyclops?
The ship had new cargo and was carrying a huge load of manganese ore, used for steelmaking. She was on her way home to Baltimore from Brazil and the last known message was “Weather Fair, All Well”. On that nine-day journey, something strange happened, and both the ship and the people just vanished without a trace.
Disappearance of Marine Sulphur Queen
SS Marine was originally a tanker built which was later converted to carry molten sulfur. It is said to have disappeared on the southern coast of Florida, taking 39 crewmen down with it. The Coast Guard said the cause of that disaster was due to the poor maintenance of the ship and the design was not proper for setting sail.
The Star Tiger and Star Ariel
On January 17th, 1949, the plane was returning to the United Kingdom after completing a flight to Kingston, Jamaica. On their way back, they were halfway from Bermuda and the weather was all clear and good. The pilot sent out a radio message to the flight navigators which happened to be the last report they received from Star Ariel. It’s still unknown what happened to them.
The Witchcraft (1954)
A cabin cruiser known as Witchcraft was with two of his friends on a trip to Miami Beach. The cruiser reported about the ship being all wrecked but when the rescuers got where the yacht was located, there was no trace of it or the people who were in it.
The Magnetic Fields
From a lot of research and scientific explanations, it is believed that the gravitational force of the Earth is much stronger in the Bermuda Triangle. People had witnessed a weird malfunction in their navigational equipment in that particular area and sudden shifts in the gravitational field. However, this theory still doesn’t have enough evidence regarding the anomalies of the magnetic fields.
SS El Faro
On September 9th, 2015, the ship was off to Puerto Rico from Jacksonville, Florida with 33 crewmen and a cargo of vehicles. After the departure, a powerful category 4 storm called Hurricane Joaquin was causing distress in the area. The ship sailed directly into the storm, and the captain reported the flooding and the ship tilting on one side. Eventually, they lost contact with the shore and went missing. The ship wreckage was found on October 31, 2015, but none of the crewmen’s bodies were recovered.

I liked the eerie storytelling vibe from your tone. Each section being its own miniature story with little to no explanation added on to the experience. I would like to see more ideas of what the causes could be instead of just the one about the Earth’s electromagnetic fields.
I enjoyed being able to read about this and knowing that you know what you talk about through your voice. You come across as very knowledgeable, which I appreciated. I really enjoyed your 4th point and the way that your writing flowed. All of the things in the list were interesting to learn about, but this was the easiest for me to follow because of the way the sentences fit together. I think this is something that could be incorporated into future posts.
